Johnnie Walker Gold Label
Johnnie Walker Gold Label was relaunched in 2012 and built around a core range of single malt whisky from Clynelish. A very good blend of whiskies with succulent honeyed sweetness, heather and a subtle nutmeg spice typical of Johnnie Walker. Lots more floral elements are prominent and there’s a spiced sweet vanilla note. Very good indeed
Johnnie Walker Double Black
An interesting and superb twist on Johnnie Walker Black Label. The Double Black adds to the normal Black Label by including more Islay whisky and casks that have been heavily charred. The result is a toasty, smoky whisky with a creamy malty core. Excellent stuff and winner of Gold premium blend at the spirits business 2015.
