The third release in Arran’s Explorers Series is named after the picturesque south coast of Kildonan and Pladda Island. Matured in a combination of sherry butts and puncheons, and finished in ruby port casks before being bottled at 21 years old. Aromas of candied orange peel, nectarine, parma violet and stewed summer fruits fill the nose. The palate offers notes of strawberry liquorice, fresh raspberries and ginger, with hints of hazelnuts and fresh fruit lingering in the finish.
