Introduced to the Benromach line-up in 2015, this lusciously rich Speyside single malt is a fruity, chocolatey and lightly smoky dram that will delight fans of traditional styles. The Benromach 15 Year Old is matured in a selection of bourbon and Sherry casks, resulting in an intense but balanced flavour profile. The nose has exquisitely balanced notes of sherry and vanilla pod, with zesty orange and root ginger, alongside a intricate chamomile and menthol. The palate brings stewed fruits, rich fruit cake and plums with sharper notes of red apple skin and kiwi fruit. The finish is long and warming with a hint of wood smoke.
