An impressively rich single malt whisky from the Spirit of Hven distillery in Sweden, named after the renowned astronomer Tycho Brahe and the supernova he discovered back in 1572.
Tycho’s Star is made using a mixture of unpeated and heavily peated barley. Big and chocolatey with apples and liquorice, too.
Interestingly enough, Brahe actually lived on the small Island of Hven back in the late 1500s! Clearly, the Spirit of Hven distillers are greatly inspired by astronomy.
