Drawn from a combination of 70% Sherry casks and 30% bourbon casks. This, mid-2017 release of 12 year old cask strength single malt from the spectacular Springbank distillery in the Campbeltown region, is not likely to stay around for long. Floral aromas of wine gums, wood chippings, candied ginger and lack liquorice fill the nose. The palate provides notes of spiced biscuits, salted caramel, salted pretzel and rich smoke.
