The full, oily, sturdy spirit of Springbank, aged for 14 years in bourbon and rum casks, before being finished for 3 years in Madeira casks. Rich fruit notes are produced by Madeira, adding more complexity. This has culminated in a full-bodied flavour profile rich in black coffee, Christmas cake and gingerbread, with delicate whiffs of light Springbank peat wafting through. Of these, 9200 bottles have been released.
